In a twist to our normal format, we are delighted to have Mr John Reid Denton from Covert Intervention Games.Getting to Know You is all about finding about someone new, what they do and how they got into the hobby. They maybe don't have a campaign running on kickstarter but they do have a story to share.John got started in the hobby through toy soldiers, before entering a career that spanned between being in the US Army to being a director of Games Workshop in America. He's taken his knowledge from his carrer in order to bring new and exciting mechanics to the world of Wargaming. He also does the best/worst Scottish accent I've ever heard. He's great fun, easy to talk to and we had a real blast talking about what he has planned for the hobby. We speak to Stephen Rhodes who works for Ubisoft as a writer. He wrote bits of The Witcher 3. And Homefront Evolution. He loves Bloodbowl and he used to only be allowed to play with 4 warhammer figures.
He was a very interesting guest and you should be listening to this as soon as you can. If only for the rant about nothing to do with boardgames at all.

Gary Deveraux comes back to We're Not Wizards to talk about what happened next in his Kickstarter Campaign for Purgatory Minis, including the pain of cancellations and chasing money as well as the highs that can come through the pledge manager after the funding deadline has finished.
Gary has a huge passion for his company and his project and it clearly shows and we were delighted to have him back on.
