Richard spoke to Justin Morgan-Davies, the driving force behind Bad Cat Games who will be bringing his dice rolling, outer space deity fighting game Elemenz to Kickstarter in February.
We have a chat about Eclispe, before talking about boardgames in an educational environment before bringing the main talking point to the floor.

Richard is joined by Andy Benford, who after serving in the Navy on various Submarines for twenty one years, took a game idea that he developed originally in the 1970s and worked with Osprey Games to make it a reality in the form of They Come Unseen. It's a rare thing indeed that a designer takes their real world experiences and places it into their boardgame. Andy's story is fascinating from the very beginning from the original idea to the final product. He was a total delightful guest and we loved having him on the show.

Our first recording session of 2017 is with the very wonderful Jamey Stegmaier of Stonemaier Games. We talk about what games influenced him as he was growing up and then chat about Viticulture, Euphoria and some other game about big robots and resource that you might of heard of.  He also talks about his new project Charterstone, which will not be hitting kickstarter, despite Richard's awful KS references.  Additional questions were provided by the wonderful @S0nicH Andy Lewis from Polyhedron Collider. Richard recorded a special show with Neil from Spartan Games just before Christmas.
We spoke about how he got into the hobby, what you do with a quarter of a million soldiers, avoiding Strictly Come Dancing, and how Neil got into the hobby, as well as how does one get the rights to produce a game from a very famous videogame IP. 
We had a lot of fun and a lot of nonsense was spoke.

Richard is joined by Frank West, the creator of The City of Kings. A new game scheduled to be hitting Kickstarter in early 2017.
Frank tells us about his self built monopoly type game he designed as a lad, we talk dating tips and hugely long sessions of Eclipse, playing Terraforming Mars and why not to email someone who triggers if they hear someone saying they are a wizard.
It was great fun to have him on and we'll be keep a close eye on what happens with The City of Kings in the future.
