In what could be potentially the last episode of the podcast before I go to jail, I decide to invite the Glorious Seppy Yoon on to talk about Conquest Princess - Fashion is Power, currently on GameFound. We chat about Naval Gazing, Window Gardening, Manuscripts you could have written, Apple Strudel and playing games while wearing silly top hats. We might even mention the game. Or maybe not. Such a fun chat...

Joined by Millie Lavelle to chat about running RPGs, chasing podcasters at UKGE and what makes for a good gaming session.  So this was a fun one to do, as I don't talk to many people on the RPG side of the hobby, but fear not, we do get our board game chat in there too.

So a Special one, where Sam Turner from the wonderful Staying In Podcast and Sherwin Matthews from Steamforged Games get together to delve a little bit more into Sherwin's history as a designer, where we talk about designing for IPs, painting, cutting the grass, fan boy moments and we quite literally put together a game about running a coffee shop. https://werenotwizards.blogspot.com/2023/02/zaberias-board-game-review.html
This review is based on the retail version of the game provided to us by the designer and publisher. We were not paid for this review. We give a general overview of the gameplay and so not all of the mechanical aspects of the game may be mentioned.

The majority of the games that we are play are going to take a reasonable number of sessions and playthroughs to fully understand every possibility that they offer. We hope this write up gives you an idea of whether or not this game is something that you will consider playing or even add to your collection. Our Six Degrees of Expectation have been written to make it easier for you to find out what is important to you as a player. Even if we don't like something, hopefully it helps you to decide if it is something that you should find out more about. We always suggest you check out a gameplay video to give you a better understanding of the game as it is played.
